About Me

“Two roads diverged in a wood, and I—
I took the one less traveled by,
And that has made all the difference.”
-Robert Frost

My name is Victoria and I still haven’t figured out what I want to be when I grow up. After leaving a career in aerospace engineering, I spent a few years traveling, learning new skills, and working the odd seasonal job, trying to figure out what it is I really want to be. What I really figured out is that I don’t want to be any one thing.

I’ve always liked to do interesting things, especially if it means learning something completely new. When I mention what I’ve been up to, whether it’s paragliding, aviation, diving (with or without a tank), or walking over 500 miles across Spain, people seem to want to hear more about it. Unfortunately, I don’t seem to very good at talking about my adventures, so I created this blog to write about them instead. These are the true stories of my adventures (and misadventures) in travel, paragliding, aviation, free diving, scuba diving, skiing, hiking, and whatever I come up with next.
